Horse Training Seminars and Clinics
for Blind Services Associations and Civic Organizations

Janet Burleson, acknowledged as one of the world's pioneering horse trainers, provides a variety of free horse training classes, seminars and clinics. Whenever feasible, a working Guide Horse team can attend these free seminars, share their experiences and demonstrate a Guide Horse in-action.

This presentation has been very popular with State and federally funded blind service organizations as well as Civic associations such as the Lions Club. When feasible, a working Guide Horse team will attend and guide dog users will be given an opportunity to try a Juno walk with a fully-trained Guide Horse.

- Guide horses as a mobility option
- Evaluating the Guide Horse candidate
- Guide Horses and the ADA
- Flying with a Guide Horse
- Guide Horses for the Orientation and mobility specialist

To request a free seminar for your blind school, organization or civic association, just send an e-mail to: info@guidehorse.com

Please note that the Guide Horse Foundation is a 501(c) charity with a primary goal of working with the visually disabled. Free horse training seminar availability is subject to funding availability, scope of media exposure and personal tine constraints.

We receive thousands of appearance requests each year and it is impossible to accommodate every request for a horse training seminar. If your schedule is flexible, we can place your organization on a wait list and perform your Guide Horse seminar when we are in your area.
