Helping Hooves Book Signing

Janet Burleson, noted as one of the worlds pioneering horse trainers will appear at the Coffee Hound bookshop on September 8th, 2006 at 6:30 PM.  The Coffee Hound bookstore is located in downtown Louisburg near the courthouse and theater.

Janet Burleson will appear in-person to explain her Guide Horse experiment, sign books and posters and discuss her revolutionary program. 

Janet will bring a guide horse in training and demonstrate how horses differ from seeing eye dogs and how guide animals are trained to assist the blind

Meet Dan & Cuddles

Dan Shaw and Cuddles, the world's first Guide Horse will appear and you will have an opportunity to get photographs with a working Guide Horse, so bring the kids.

Join us at the Coffeehound Bookshop this Friday, September 8th at 6:30 PM.

We will have Janet Burleson, acclaimed horse trainer and founder of the Guide Horse Foundation, a novel program to use miniature horse to guide the blind.  Janet will be available to sign books and answer questions.

We will also have Dan Shaw, a working guide horse user who will appear in-person with Cuddles, the world first working seeing eye horse.  Bring your camera and join us for an evening of fun and photographs.
